Meet Libby

My name is Libby, and I know that this is kind of random, but have you ever had one of those days where your family drops you off on a strange country road and speeds away, never to be seen again? That is one of my first memories, and definitely one of my worst days. Don't get me wrong - I'm not mad about it, because I'm a go with the flow kind of gal. All's well that ends well. Later that fateful day a couple of kids found me when they were getting off the school bus, and fast forward to me in my sweet new foster digs. I like to play with other dogs and would likely get along well with kids (I might knock them down though without meaning to). In the first few days here I learned to love my crate, and have been crushing it learning how to walk on a leash and sit when asked. I've got some big energy and I love to play, but I also have a sweet side - I love to cuddle up for car rides and for morning and evening snuggles. As far as my breed (why does everyone care?) your guess is as good as mine but Mountain Cur is my best guess. I'm full of hybrid vigor, and have some wildly cool markings, if I do say so myself. Oh, and I am about 10 weeks old and 16 pounds, and my fur is so soft you will never want to stop petting me! I would do well in a home with a fenced yard or an apartment with a fenced in dog area so that I can get plenty of exercise everyday. Let's meet up for coffee or chew toys, and I can tell you all about how I want to be your new forever pup!

(As a reminder, puppies will need lots of time and attention during the first year. Before adopting me, please make sure that you have enough time, energy and commitment to devote to my training. This little furball will need all sorts of supplies from leashes to puppy chow, as well as veterinary care, and plenty of walks, Puppies need a lot of care, so everyone in your household should be on board and ready to help out.)

My adoption fee is $150 and includes my spay/neuter, vaccinations, wellness exam, heartworm test, and microchip! If you're interested in meeting/adopting me, please visit www.rescueonespringfield.com/our-adoption-process/adoption-application/ and fill out the form! We do adopt out of state with vet references and video home check. *Adopter is responsible for coming to get the dog and returning the dog if the adoption does not work out*
