Liam Golden Retriever Mix Los Angeles, CA

Liam is now 9 months old and mending well after his healed fractured pelvis and hip surgery to repair his fractured femoral head. He loves his walks which are getting longer as he is developing muscle that he lost and the scar tissue has built up to keep his hip in place. We have started to do weight shifting exercises and other activities to build muscle. He has grown into a 40 pound dog currently and has a bit more to go. He is also able to run and fetch. He will “drop" when asked, “sometimes”, but will always “drop” when you will trade him with a yummy treat. He has taken to house training, doing his business outside and respecting furniture although he does like to steal socks sometimes. He likes to play with other dogs although he is also fine being the only dog. He is still young so we would like a home where his people are around to continue his education and socialization.

(It is recommended that Liam be paired with a family with children above the age of 12.)
