Meet Lexi
Meet Lexi! Lexi is 6 year old Husky. She came to NAWS with her son in 2020, and was adopted shortly after. Unfortunately, her adopter became ill and had to return her. She has been confused and looking for her family. Lexi is a laid back and fun girl. She enjoys snuggling and going on walks. She does well with children, and can be particular about other dogs.
The NAWS Dog Adoption Program operates as a rescue versus a shelter. We believe in matching the right dog with the appropriate family based on each specific dog or family's needs. To achieve this, we believe in spending the appropriate amount of time with each family to allow for enough interaction time with potential adopters. This cannot be achieved if people stop by unexpectedly to meet our dogs.
