Lexi German Shepherd Dog Mix Johnston, IA

Say hello to Lexi! She is a 48lb 3ish year old shepherd mix who's been in rescue since June of 2022. She loves to play with other dogs and run the fastest zoomies in the land. She's fully house/crate trained and loves car rides. She will need a home without cats / tiny animals, as she has a large prey drive. She loves people, kids included - but can be a little jumpy and a lot kissy so will need some work on keeping her off the little ones she can and will jump, dig, or find a way to escape any height and type of fencing (even supervised) - so leash / long lead only for this girl. She has no fear of anything and wants to be part of the action! Senior dogs, at our discretion, are adopted out at $150 per dog because we know they will have less time with your family and may eventually have more needs as they get older. But we feel these dogs deserve to live out the rest of their lives as part of a loving family.
