Lexi is between 1.5 – 2 years old and if you are a single lady looking for a great friend, who spends most of your time at home then this is your girl!!! A fenced in yard is a must. Once she gets to know you she really comes to life and will be your very best friend. Lexi was found as a stray and completely shut down in the shelter when they asked us to help. She is extremely timid and sadly terrified of men. But all this is worth discussing. Once she trusts you, Lexi is loving, playful, and super funny. She is good with other dogs but would rather be with her person over roughhousing with the other k9. She knows some of her commands and she walks good on leash. Being out away from home around strangers is another setback but a walk in a quiet neighborhood can be a good thing. She has perfect house manners and can be calm and quiet as she is a good tv buddy to have by your side. Outside she loves to run, play fetch, and sniff all around. Car rides are a little scary but only because she is not use to them, she is getting better though. Lexi will need to be introduced to new people, places, and things slowly, so she does not get scared again and shut down. We are recommending multiple visits with her so not to traumatize her with a sudden move. All that will be discussed after the app has been approved.
