We need fosters so that we can save dogs before they are euthanized at the shelters, so that they have more time to find a permanent family. This sweet boy is Levi. He was part of a terrible neglect case in which 69 Hounds and Beagles died. He ended up at the shelter when state investigators got involved and then he needed to be moved quickly or would face euthanasia. Levi came to us with a skin infection, overgrown claws and feeling under the weather. Yet, as soon as he got to the vet, his tail wagged and he was loving all the attention he got. Levi is about 22 lbs, 7 years old, neutered and current on his shots. Levi is great with other dogs, fine with cats and really likes people....he is crate trained and working on his house breaking. He loves to go for walks and sniff...and he learned to go up/down stairs very quickly. Please give Levi the life he deserves. Please also consider a donation to help us treat his skin infection (non-contagious) and get him all ready for adoption!
The adoption fee for this dog is $275, which helps with the cost of routine vet care, as well as spay/neuter surgery.
