Hi, my name is Leon and I’m looking for my forever home. Ideally, I would be placed in a new home that has experience with bully breeds. I’m young at only two years old and still have some puppy energy and require additional training to mind my manners. Currently with my fosters, I am working on Leash training, not jumping, and controlling my excitement. I know basic commands like sit, lay down, no and come. I’m definitely a bit of a bulldozer when it comes to playtime so small children are probably not best in my new home. I also have extremely high prey drive so no small critters in the household would be ideal. I’m extremely friendly with people and have the cutest wiggles from the top of my head to my very tippy tail. I love cuddling with humans and will flop on your lap like a sack of potatoes. Couch and bed snuggles are totally my vibe. I love toys, but I definitely need to be monitored because I tend to shred them up. Tough and rugged squeaky toys are by far my favorite! I love playing fetch and know how to drop/let go, but sometimes my retrieval skills are less than desirable, and I may just plop down and chew the toy.

I have acclimated to my foster home extremely well and never had an accident. I’m potty trained and crate trained and do great on a routine. I very rarely bark only on the rare occasion if somebody comes to the door unannounced do I give a wooof or two. I’m a gem of a pup that has amazing potential for being a great lifelong companion. I haven’t yet been introduced to the resident dogs so updates are pending on my doggie social skills with them but I did live with dogs in my prior foster home in TX and did wonderful with all of them!!
