Meet Leo

Leo may not be a lion, but he’s a lion-hearted little guy! Leo is a 1.5 year old Pomeranian from Korea that is 9 pounds. He is very smart and already knows commands for sit, paw, wait, down, and high five. Leo loves to get lots of exercise. He absolutely adores going on hikes and to dog parks so if you’re an active dog lover, Leo will be right there with you. He is fully vaccinated , microchipped, and neutered, and is housebroken and crate trained.
Before Leo was rescued he had been kept in a crate most of his life and has weak back muscles. But that doesn’t stop him from loving his walks. The vet in Korea says Leo must have a raw diet, supplements to strengthen bones and muscles, acupuncture, and continued physical therapy and water therapy whenever possible .This will be required of adopters and we will only consider adopters understanding and placing Leo's needs first.
We require a 2-person household, with adults 25 or older where at least one person works from home or who can take Leo to a work-friendly office. You must live in NYC, Long Island, Westchester, and some parts of CT or NJ and be close to a holistic vet with acupuncture and therapy. It is very important for Leo’s health and well-being.
