Meet Lenny

Hi, my name is Lenny! Here is what would work best for me in my new home:

-Personality: Exuberant, playful, adventurous, energetic, active, goofy, SMART!
-Can Live with Kids: At this time, we are recommending calm, respectful kids aged 10+. Lenny can be a little mouthy in play, which may escalate in situations where rowdy kiddos are roughhousing with him. Everyone will need to meet at the shelter first to ensure they're a good match.
-Can Live with Cats: Not recommended- very high likelihood of a prey drive.
-Can Live with Dogs: Yes! This active little dude loves to play and would be great in a home with another dog.
-Can do Apartment Living: Lenny is a very, very high energy dog who is also quite vocal. For this reason, apartment living would not be the best situation for him.
-Potty Trained: Appears to be!
-Bite History: No
-Positive Reward Based Obedience Classes Required: Depending on adopter experience, he may be required to sign up for one private lesson.
-Energy Level: H I G H !! On a scale of 1-10, he's an 11!
-Needs Medical Procedure Before Going Home: Yes, a neuter.
-Additional Information: Lenny is a super-charged, energetic, highly intelligent dog who's looking for his perfect partner in crime! This handsome dude is always on the go-- "couch potato" is NOT in his vocabulary! He will need lots and LOTS of exercise and mental stimulation in order to be happy and stay out of trouble. Playful and goofy, Lenny loves to race around the room with his toys. He'll do almost anything for a treat, which will go a long way in his training. Lenny would be happiest living an active lifestyle with an athletic family-- he wants to go running, hiking, maybe do some agility work. Leisurely strolls around the block are NOT going to cut it for this guy! He is quite vocal, especially when left alone. He may have some separation anxiety, so any potential adopters should have a plan in place before they leave the house, or else they may return home to shredded furniture! Lenny is a super fun pup who will make a wonderful buddy for years to come. Fill out an application to come in and meet him!
