Lennon's Story

Lennon's story is heartbreaking and inspiring all at the same time. For years, he was chained outside, never knowing the warmth of a home or the gentle touch of a loving hand. When his owner abandoned him, he was left to starve-surviving only because of the kindness of neighbors who refused to let him fade away.

Despite his past, Lennon holds no grudges. He is one of the sweetest, most affectionate dogs you'll ever meet!

We believe Lennon (aka Lenny) has some visual impairment, most likely a result of his neglect. He will need a family that can work around his special needs and challenges.
He is still healing emotionally from his past and will need a patient family that is willing to work through it with him. He will be worth every minute!

Lennon is looking for a family who will show him what true love and security feel like-a home where he will never again have to wonder when his next meal will come or whether he is wanted.

Could you be the one to give Lennon the happy ending he deserves? new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/TIP-A-330

We base our adoption decisions on the best fit, not as first-come, first-served. An application comes first and then if selected, we will schedule an initial meet and greet. Dog to dog greets are done at a different time if there are resident dogs in the home. If all goes well, our next step is a home check. Upon approval of home check, we will meet again to go over medical needs and care, such as bladder expression and special care specific to the selected animal to ensure everyone if comfortable handling their new pup. We offer training for all fosters and adopters.
