Leia (#2979) Labrador Retriever Warrington, PA

Hi! I'm Leia! I'm a precocious and VERY adorable silver lab. I've traveled up to the Philadelphia area from Mississippi in hopes of finding an amazing furever home where I can live my best life! I'm currently living in a foster home with two foster brothers, with whom I LOVE to play with.

Since I'm still a puppy, I'm working on all my manners like walking nicely on a leash (I only pull when I want to smell something, but I dart back and forth a lot), counter-surfing (sometimes I just can't help myself when there's something delicious on the counter), and waiting patiently when the door opens before we go out. I do know how to sit (only for treats), but I'm learning to sit and wait, and lay down. Even though I'm so young, I am a very good office mate! My foster mom tells me how polite I am when she gets on those Zoom calls. I just like to lay next to her or underneath her desk and snore away or play with my toys.

So far, the only thing I like to steal (other than food on the counter, of course) are socks...the stinkier the better! My foster dad has the best ones! I don't tear them up,I just like to carry them in my mouth and lay on the rug with them.

I think my ideal family would have another dog for me to play with or humans that will play with me. I really don't like being alone, so if you work from home these days and are looking for a super soft smooshy face, I might be your girl!

Fun facts about me:
1. I can and like to carry two toys in my mouth at the same time! Usually a stuffie and a ball or two stuffies!
2. I’m deathly afraid of the garbage trucks! I would be a million miles away in the opposite direction if it wasn’t for my harness!
3. I snore like an old man. :)
