Leia Golden Retriever & Poodle Mix Union Grove, WI

Leia is a Goldendoodle that has lost her home. Her owner is moving to Puerto Rico do to an accident and needs to live with family. Goldendoodle is a half Golden Retriever and half Standard Poodle. She is 48 lbs and will be 2 yrs old in a few months. Leia needs a special home to call her own. No young children under 15 she is far to active for small kids. She is very animated when she meets you and will jump on you or anyone that comes by her. She will be an exceptional dog but needs a dedicated owner to do training with her. She is housebroken. She walks on a leash but is strong and excited. She is young and needs to be exercised. Dog class would be the best thing for her and her new owner. She is timid of other dogs but as she starts to learn and exercise she will just get better and better. Leia will just blossom with a dedicated owner who is a little dog savvy.
She is current on all vaccines, heartworm tested, microchipped and been wormed for internal parasites. She will be spayed in the near future but she does have a uti right now. She is on medication so they need to clear that up before they spay her which will be at the expense of the rescue.
Possible foster to adopt.
Leia is currently located in Chicago but is looking for a Foster presently.
Her adoption fee is $400.
