I’m 11 years young and was loved more than any dog in this world. My parent’s passion was taking in throwaways and sadly Dad passed last year and my Mom went to heaven a month ago. My fellow rescues and I have a swimming pool, a beautiful fenced in yard and were blessed. Mama had dementia so her daughter would come weekly for several days and would  give us love- she cried and held us sharing “I’ll look out for you” and I slept by her bed knowing all would be ok.  My other companions are now gone, the house is being sold August 1 and I wait at the gate. I hear a car…my tail slowly starts wagging, my ears perk….is that Miss Annie Bugs, has someone come to love me my remaining years? Nights are the toughest times for me…I have too much time to think. I’m in very good health for a senior girl, I am 90% German Shepherd but look like a yellow butterball because I was clipped- you can see the kindness in my eyes, the wisdom and pain in my face and my one flopped ear which questions – ‘What Happened?’  I’m a little over-served at 77 lbs, totally housebroken, low energy level & just want to be by your side and love you…..see my big smile? I would do best in a home with children over 8 years old. I’m up to date on all my shots, HW preventative and my family will  contribute financially for my continued care in the right home. I don’t do steps real well as a senior girl,, am fine with other dogs but more of a people girl.
