Leena German Shepherd Dog Mix New Albany, OH
- Vaccinations up to date.
- Good in a home with
- Other dogs.
At about 3 years old, she's the perfect mix of puppy and adult. She has all the good parts of training down pat. No accidents in the house, she tells her Foster Mama when she needs to go out and she knows, sit, stay and off. And yet, she still has a puppy exuberance that will keep you in stitches and knowing you're loved. Her beautiful brindle coat is so, so soft. Almost as though she never lost her puppy fur.
If you have another dog in the house, great! She loves to play. If you don't have any other dogs in the house, great! You're hers and hers alone. She is the most amenable animal to any situation. She loves walks, although she's a bit confused that they are for pleasure AND for business. She so enjoys sniffing and exploring that she hasn't quite figured out that they're for tinkling and pooping too. She comes home, eats breakfast, then goes out to the backyard to relieve herself. But she'll get there!
She practically never barks, except when you come in the house. Then once she realizes it's you, she immediately stops and just starts wiggling her booty to show you how happy she is that you are home. We are working on "off" because she does like to jump on you but she's quickly learning that it's not how we greet people.
She LOVES toys! She does the cutest thing when she's chewing on a toy. She uses her back teeth like she's really getting in there and going for it with gusto! She even knows how to play by herself, throwing the toy in the air and running to get it where it lands.
And lastly, she loves to curl up with you or next to you or near you and sleep. Knowing you're in the same room, or the same bed, or the same space gives her so much comfort. She loves to be loved and give love in return. She makes you wonder what we did to deserve dogs. She's truly perfect and is going to make someone so, so happy. It could be you who gets to raise your hand the next time someone asks you if you've ever met the perfect dog.
