Lee Lee's Story
LeeLee roomed with Chelsee (another Friends dog) at the Caroline County pound and at a foster home before she came to Friends. They loved chasing each other around the pen. This exercise kept LeeLee slim and trim. Lee-Lee gets very excited to see her favorite volunteers and loves to get out for some fast-paced walks with her nose to the ground. She loves to play with other dogs and would do well with an active family to help her get the exercise she needs. After she has had her walks and playtime, then it’s time for LOVE. She loves TLC, hugs and to be cuddled. She has been around some kids at the shelter, and she seems to enjoy the attention from them. Because of her energy level, she should only be walked by adults or older teenagers. LeeLee has ignored the feral cats at the shelter, so she would probably be OK – although I think she might want to play with them. She is a medium to high energy dog that would make a great family pet.

I can only be adopted to a home in the DC Metro area.
