Lea Shih Tzu & Miniature Schnauzer Mix Dayton, OH

Say hello to little Lea!

She is a super sweet Shih Tzu x Mini Schnauzer mix (or so we think) with a beautiful black and white coat. She's around 3-4years old and weighs about 12 pounds. She could not be more perfect!

This sweet girl was surrendered to us a couple of weeks ago and is now with a terrific foster family and doing great. Watch the very short video of her (I think you have to click on it twice) - the pictures do not do her justice!

Lea is housebroken, crate trained and is non-reactive with neither dogs nor cats. She has medium energy level and while she loves to play, she loves to snuggle even more.

She is spayed, microchipped and up to date on her shots. Lea loves to follow her fosters around the house and will make a great addition to any family.

Lea is a highly portable companion who would love to join her people for shopping & car rides. Overall she's a sweet girl who likes to remain close to her people & would be best suited for owners who can be home most of the time.

This girl has a lovely coat and a captivating look that just begs you to pick her up and snuggle with her. She is happy, healthy and ready for her forever family.

NOTE: THIS IS AN "OUT OF TOWN PET" - that means she is not at this location but we do have transport here - more about transport below. Our Rescue is Houston based (https://www.facebook.com/TwilightTailsRescue) and all our fosters and Rescue Ranch are in and around Houston.

Lea is being fostered near Houston, TX but can be brought close to your home on rescue transport which comes through your area once a month. Transport info below.

Her adoption fee is $495 plus $30 for a health certificate and $250 for transport.

Understanding transport: Once everything is all approved, dogs are scheduled on transport using AJC Rescue & Transport (https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100083418067425). Transport means dogs are carefully and thoughtfully moved via scheduled air conditioned/heated vans from our doggy ranch in Fulshear, TX to a location near you. Each transport consists of a team of two drivers who can alternate. This is how we communicate in real time. The driver who is not driving, will be updating the group chat. You will be included in this group chat to track your dog through transport. You will also be given exact location and scheduled time of arrival. Our drivers do everything possible to run on-time however, things such as traffic, weather etc. can affect arrival time. You will updated regarding delays or possible early arrival. Keep in mind, dogs on transport stop for bathroom, walk and food breaks. For safety, all dogs are crated during transport.
