Layla's Boy - Chip Great Pyrenees Richmond, VA

My name is Chip and I'm Layla's last remaining boy. There were thirteen of us in the litter born September 16, 2022...7 girls and 6 boys. Five of my brothers have found loving homes and are having the time of their lives. I think it is time for me to enjoy the same bliss.

Where did my name come from? We had a puppy naming contest with the theme of "Baker's Dozen". Thus, Chip (chocolate chip???).

You can check out photos of my mommy (Layla) and daddy (Legend) on Petfinder. I may be biased, but I think they are exceptionally beautiful and handsome. I'm hoping I'm as handsome as my daddy and as soft as my mommy.

Its obvious, I'm still a puppy. For those of you who have experienced a Pyr puppy before, you know that we are puppies until we are about two years old (if you are lucky). So, toys on the floor? Fair game. Socks and shoes and sneakers on the floor? Fair game. Other stuff on the floor? You guessed it...fair game.

I'm being taught to walk better on a leash. My attention span is limited right now. There are so many squirrels in the woods here and they taunt me when I walk. I think they want to play "Keep Away". Ahhhh... life is grand being a puppy.
