15 yr old Layla finds herself in need of a new home because her family was no longer able to provide for her the life she deserves. She is a sweet girl who has done well with other dogs. Although her vision is not the best and her back legs are a little wobbly, she still gets around great and enjoys going for walks. Senior Dog Sanctuary of Maryland's Adoption Policy

Why adopt a Senior Dog? Experienced, housebroken, settled down, loving and lovable, good with children, excellent company, non-judgemental - we could go on but you get the picture. Exceptions to everything listed? Sure, but all in all an experience you will never regret. First, come visit the dogs that interest you; we are open, by appointment, every day of the week from 10-3. Then complete our Adoption Application, which asks for personal references, your animals' Vet, information about your home environment and your agreement to allow us to do a home visit. Once approved, we will do a meet and greet with your family - including your four-legged family members. If all goes well, you welcome your pup into your home and your heart and you all become members of our extended Senior Dog Sanctuary family!
