Layla's Story

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Please contact Michele (mballenger58@gmail.com) for more information about this pet.
Online Adoption Application ›
If you would like to meet me, visit https://care.rescuegroups.org to fill out an application on my page.My foster mom told me my perfect home is out there. I am super easy to take care of and have great potty habits. I can rest well in a crate and actually like it, but I seem to have barrier anxiety. I get nervous when dogs or people I don't know I can trust get close to my crate. I might do best without other dogs in the home, but it would just depend on the dog. I haven't had any bad incidents with other dogs, but some pushy dogs make me bark in an angry tone when I'm in my crate. A busy home with small children may not be the best fit. My breed was unknown. My foster mom thought I looked like a Brussels Griffon. She was so curious, she ran a DNA test. Apparently I am a Chihuahua, Shih Tzu, Poodle, Mini Schnauzer, Pug, Yorkshire Terrier Pomeranian, Dachshund mix. Plus a few more breeds that were under 5%.I love to run and play in the yard. I love to roll in the grass. I love to chase balls, I am just a happy little girl. If I know I can trust you, I will love you forever and make you smile.
