Layla is special case. She was a feral puppy, living in a field when Animal Control caught her. We have had her for months, and that little bit of feral just has never left her. She has gotten a lot better, and will come up to you and nibble your fingers when you are not looking. But, other than that want's no human interaction. The shelter was going to put her down, and I just couldn't have that happen.
Unfortunately, she also is very un-adoptable to most people, because of how shy she is. She would need someone VERY patient, or maybe someone on some property who wouldn't mind a ranch dog. She is lovely with other dogs, and does very well. She is about 1 years old, and would love to find that special someone who would understand her, and work her through her fears.
