Meet LAYLA
Meet our lovely Layla. She is a Staffordshire Terrier/ Labrador mix, approximately three years old. She was found as a stray and quickly became a favorite in the municipal shelter. In her young life, she was bred many times. She no longer has to endure that.
Layla is the most affectionate, mellow, friendly dog. She rolls right over for a belly rub. Lovely Layla is dog-friendly but we can't say the same for cats. She is well mannered on the leash.
Layla recently spent a few overnights at a volunteer's home and was an excellent house guest. She is crate trained, housebroken and takes treats gently. She rarely barks and is very patient. She is pretty mellow but does enjoy a 10 minute game of fetch until she tires! She abides by the "wait" command without running out the front door or up the stairs to the second floor. Layla has also had some outings at the park with Luke, another pup searching for his forever home. They walked well and played nicely together, too!
