Meet beautiful Laycee!
She ranks as probably the sweetest dog I’ve fostered says her foster mamma. She’s very gentle. Shy at first but after a few ear rubs and pets you’re her new best friend. This 8 year old King Charles Cavalier puppy mill survivor is calm, loves attention and promises to be an excellent companion dog.

Laycee would do best in a home with at least one other dog her age and demeanor having had her share of puppies. She’s content sitting or lying by your side or in her comfy bed. At night she sleeps in the bedroom on the floor curled up in her raised bed. She’s up-to-date on shots, spayed and has had a dental. Her big brown eyes will melt your heart when she looks up at you.

If you’re looking for an active dog for your active lifestyle, Laycee is not for you. However, if you’re searching for a chill little love bug that wants to be by your side, will follow you everywhere,loves attention, pets, ear and belly rubs…she’s your perfect match.

She’s not leash trained. Doing well at potty training, still learning.

She’s a little doll. She’s so gentle. She needs a quiet environment with a companion dog. She never leaves your side. She’s so incredibly happy to be free. Someone will be truly blessed to have this sweet girl.

We are in Rochester, NY, we adopt to people who live in the Rochester area. We do not ship our dogs and require home visits. Must live in area to adopt, will not respond to out of area/country requests. Additionally we require physically fenced yard for dog/pup to play in safely. Exceptions are sometimes made to this requirement but is up to the foster and more often done for the small breed dogs.

All our dogs have been treated with dewormer; heartworm tested (if age appropriate -7 mths or older); treated for fleas/ticks; microchipped; and examined by veterinarian plus given age appropriate vaccinations. We take every effort to ensure the health of the animal and you will receive a copy of all vet work performed at time of adoption. Dogs will be spayed/neutered thru us prior to finalizing any adoption.

We provide information on dogs age and breed based on what we are told by person surrendering dog or vet's best guess. While we try our best we cannot guarantee that this information is 100% accurate and can often be best guess in case of our lovable mutts.
