Meet Laurel

Laurel is a tiny little guy who was pulled with his brother Hardy from a shelter south of Phoenix. The two boys are about 9 months old. Laurel was fostered and is being fostered by two different families over the holidays. He did a great job with house training at his foster home. You can see that he is smaller than his foster mini brother but that is a bigger male mini, but Laurel and Hardy are smaller.

They are loveable and huggable and looking for their new homes. They would appreciate another dog in their new homes or they could be adopted together.

From the foster............"Laurel" and his brother "Hardy" appear to be Chihuahua/Terrier mix. Laurel weighs is a 7 month old neutered male and weighs 7 pounds. He plays well with his foster siblings (One Giant and one mini schnauzer) and is very gentle with children. He follows "foster-mom" all over...even outdoors and LOVES to cuddle. He seems to be very calm and easy going. He is crate trained and will be a dedicated pet.

Laurel's adoption fee is $275. If you are interested in this boy, please email us phxgsrescue@hotmail.com If you are interested in the two of them, the adoption fee would be $400 for the both of them. Applications in the immediate area are given preference and you need to be within driving distance to come and pick up a dog. We do not ship our dogs. When you adopt a dog from us and for some reason it doesn't work, the dog be returned to VSGSR and a full refund is given with in the first thirty days. Any dog adopted from us at any time comes back to Valley of the Sun Giant Schnauzer Rescue if the adopter can not keep the dog. We are responsible for our dogs for their lifetime. And we hope our adopters are also. Each dog will have been neutered, had full panel blood tests done, been microchipped and up to date on all of his shots. We do prefer that you be within driving distance of Phoenix to adopt one of our dogs. If the adoption doesn't work out for some reason with in the first thirty days, the adoption fee is refunded upon return of the dog. Our contract states that during the life of the dog, should something happen that you can not keep any of our dogs, the dog must be returned to VSGSR. Should a family member wish to adopt the dog, they would be given first priority. We are responsible for our dogs for their entire life. If interested, please email us at phxgsrescue@hotmail.com for more information. Emailing is the best way to contact us as we are all volunteers.
