Meet LAMONT
THIS IS A COURTESY LISTING – This dog is not in foster care with BAPBR and we make no guarantees about his/her health or temperament. We are providing a service to Del Norte County Animal Control to help with adoption. Please contact the shelter directly if you are interested in meeting or adopting this dog–their info is below.
Four-year-old Lamont is a born lover; this handsome brindle beast greets every shelter volunteer and visitor with wags, wiggles and barely contained enthusiasm. He's also smart, cheerful, easy-going and eager to please—he has good leash skills, nice house manners and a happy interest in children and other friendly doggos. Lamont recently spent a weekend with a foster family who reported that he was an excellent house guest and a perfect gentleman. This joyful boy knows basic commands and would be equally content hiking alongside you or snuggling through a Netflix binge. Come say hello to Lamont and see if you can bear to leave without taking this magical mutt home with you.
Born Again Pit Bull Rescue (BAPBR) regularly works with the wonderful volunteers at the Del Norte County Animal Control Shelter located out in rural Crescent City, CA (a small coastal town on the OR/CA border). They have a very small shelter with small indoor 3x6 kennel runs, low foot traffic, odd adoption viewing hours and it rains a lot which means the dogs can’t always come outside to play–so we want YOU to see some of their really great dogs that they have up for adoption– it's only a short 5-hour drive from Portland to adopt your new family member!
Del Norte County Animal Control is located in Crescent City, CA. They are open Monday thru Friday from 8am to 5pm. They are closed Saturday and Sunday.
