Meet Laika

Laika hails from California, where she faced the euthanasia list multiple times until we stepped in and welcomed her into our rescue. Now safe and thriving in her long-term foster home, she enjoys running alongside her foster when they go out on a skateboard or electric scooter. Laika excels at dog parks, getting along well with other dogs, and has proven to be a wonderful big sister to the numerous foster puppies her foster parents have taken in. Her calm nature makes her great with children, and she can be left home alone without worries.

If you're looking for a dog to retire with, travel in your van, or simply lounge around, Laika is the perfect choice. Though she's initially fearful of unfamiliar people, she warms up after a few days and will show you the love and loyalty only a shepherd can give.
