Lady Bug Tibetan Terrier Mix Palatine, IL

Life is full of surprises. Lady Bug’s life turned upside down when her beloved owner suddenly passed away. It is clear Lady Bug was adored and that she loved her owner. Now it’s time for other humans to step up and show her compassion at her time of loss.

She is an easy girl to love.This 14-year-old Tibetan Terrier is happiest when she’s being cuddled, scratched, belly-rubbed, and smooched. Lady Bug doesn’t like being left behind (and who can blame her, knowing what happened) nor does she enjoy her crate. Good news is, she is housebroken and is not destructive if left alone. But this older gal would dearly love a house where her people are frequently home. While she gets along with other dogs, she'd probably prefer to be an only dog so she can hog all the human affection herself!

What she needs now is consistent, gentle love. She's a bit slow to warm up to new people but once you have her trust, you're golden. Lady Bug would be best in a quiet home without small children (she likes them but too many fast movements) and where there aren’t a lot of people coming and going. While she is a couch potato at heart, Lady Bug enjoys her strolls through the neighborhood. She’s quite good on leash but wishes strangers would keep their distance.

What else? She loves her stuffed pig. She gets the zoomies once or twice a day. Loves car rides. Prefers canned food over dry. If threatened or uncomfortable, she’ll put on a good show.

If you have a quiet home and are looking for someone who will dote on you and accompany you on walks around the neighborhood, Lady Bug is your girl. Such a big heart in this little body!�
