Did You Adopt Lady ?

Meet Lady

Lady was found as a stray on the south side of Chicago running loose near rail road tracks. She evaded several capture attempts and was finally caught by an experienced trapper. Lady was found with a thick chain collar but no tags or microchip. It appears she has had a few litters in her life. Based off her teeth and eyes, our veterinarian estimates her to be around 6 years old. She weighs 71 pounds.

Lady is overall a calm, affectionate girl that loves pets! She is currently being fostered in an adult home and hasn’t been introduced to young kids. Lady has good house manners and doesn’t mind her crate. She enjoys going for walks and car rides! Lady hasn’t shown any interest in toys. She only knows “sit” on command, and would benefit from an obedience class with her adopter.

Lady would need to meet any dogs in a potential forever home. She is not good with small dogs. Lady hasn’t been cat tested. If interested in fostering or adopting Lady, apply at www.gsrescue1.org
