Meet Lady
Lovely Lady is on her way to becoming a breast cancer survivor!

8 year old Lady #A5396272 arrived from our Lancaster Animal Care Center with mammary tumors (as a result of not being spayed) on both sides and severe arthritis in her hips. She’s also on an anti-inflammatory for arthritis which she will need lifelong. Dr. Julia reported she was perfect while at the Vet...good girl Lady!

Healthcare for Homeless Animals provided funding for her #ForeverYoungSeniorWellnessExam at Malibu Coast Animal Hospital, where it was confirmed that she had mammary masses, and this is likely due to never being spayed ?. Most recently Lady had surgery to remove one mammary chain & she was finally spayed.

Here's some great news: her mammary masses were benign!! ? Next, Lady will return to see Dr.Julia and have her other mammary chain removed along with dental work. ?

Pretty Lady is a sweet girl & soon to be breast cancer survivor, who rides fantastic in a car, and adores being with her volunteer friends. Lady is available for meet & greets to find her forever and ever home! ? She is a sweet sheppie who is looking for a family with older children (MS age & up), a calm dog companion is ok.
