Lacey's Story

Lacey Mae is a 3-year-old Lab x Great Dane mix with a heart as big as her paws. She originally came to us as a stray and quickly stole everyone's hearts with her gentle, loving nature. Sadly, she was recently returned-but we're confident her true forever family is still out there.

Her previous home didn't share much information, only noting that she'd been living mostly outdoors with a wireless fence and had started chasing the cats. That said, here at the shelter, she hasn't batted an eye at our office cat! We suspect it's more a case of boredom and lack of stimulation than anything else-Lacey is a bright girl who thrives on companionship, interaction, and having a purpose.

This big sweetheart is calm, affectionate, and happiest when she's close to her people. She leans in for cuddles, follows you from room to room, and gives the kind of soft, soulful looks that make your heart melt. Despite her size, she's gentle and well-mannered, with a nurturing, almost motherly way about her.

Lacey Mae would love a home that can give her what she's been missing-time, attention, and engagement. Whether that's daily walks, playtime, or just being included in family life, she'll give back every ounce of love she receives (and then some!).

If you're ready to welcome a truly special girl into your home-one who will adore you unconditionally and make every day brighter-Lacey Mae is waiting to meet you.

Could this big-hearted girl be your perfect match?
