Meet LACEY

Lacey is a 6 year old calm, sweet, sedate, yet playful black lab. She is a farm dog surrender after being used for breeding, Lacey has really been enjoying life inside a warm, cozy home and is now looking for her forever family. She is fully house-trained, good with steps, and knows basic commands. She is very food motivated but will need her new family to help her with her weight-loss goals. At 116 lbs, she has a way to go. Lacey loves and seeks affection and enjoys belly rubs and being brushed. Since she is recuperating from Lymes, she has not been on many walks and will need some harness/leash training.

Dogs - Lacey LOVES other dogs. She will need to go to a home with another dog (preferably female) who is playful and submissive. She loves toys,
bones, and of course treats.
Cats- unknown
Housebroken- yes- since she just learned this skill, it would be best if she were taken out frequently for reinforcement.
Kids – Lacey is sweet and gentle with children. She does best with calm, respectful children otherwise she becomes afraid.

Lacey would do best in a calm, loving home where she receives the affection she so deserves. She has done well with a fenced yard and enjoys wandering around in it. She needs to be placed with another dog for company who is playful but submissive. Lacey will need to continue her training as an inside dog.
She deserves a loving home where time is spent with her.
