This smile makes me smile!!! Introducing Kuma, a 1-year-old, 55lb. Cattle Dog mix. This is what his foster has to say:

“Meet Playful Boy Kuma!! His deep brown eyes, his big ears and his beautifully colored coat will forever melt your heart and make you fall in love with him instantly. This silly boy collects all the compliments as he is very sweet, athletic and very smart.

He is absolutely adorable and kind!! Kuma is an amazing hugger so when you come home from work expect many hugs and gentle kisses and lots of excitement. He loves to go for walks. He is an athletic boy so if you love to go for a walk then put some tennis shoes on and you got yourself a walking/running partner. He does very well on the leash, as well as alone, and with his foster brothers and sisters.

Kuma is a love bug!! He is great with adults and kids and makes new friends easily. He’s not a huge fan of cats. He plays well with his doggie friends, doing zoomies, chasing balls and playing tug-of-war when it’s nice out. His favorite toys are ropes - this silly guy just loves them. He is a pro - he loves to catch them, flip them, and his big move is to jump and get it while it’s still in the air.

The second biggest obsession for Kuma is water. This boy will do anything to play with the water. Chasing water from a water hose is definitely by far his favorite activity. So if you live by the lake or ocean please pack the bags because Kuma boy will be ready to go!!
He also loves his chill naps with his warm fuzzy blankets. So if you need a nap he will support you 100% and will nap next to you. If you work at home he will be by your side keeping you company chewing on his favourite marrow bone but if you need to leave your home to go somewhere, he is kennel trained so he can nap inside.

Kuma listens well and knows basic commands. Loves car rides and does well on the back seat. His energy level is moderate and playful. He loves modeling in front of the camera. How can he not??!! Those eyes and those ears!!! So, if you love to take pictures and videos, he is ready! Precious boy Kuma is full of love and happiness and his beautiful pictures aren’t enough to show his amazing, sweet personality.

Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no choice but to euthanize animals for space. We prepare them for adoption by properly vetting and providing individualized care through our incredible behavior program that consists of socialization and leash training for all animals that enter our adoption program prior to matching them with loving families who will treasure them for the rest of their lives. They are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts once adopted, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be!
