-Bite History: None, however the previous owner noted that she snaps at strangers
-Positive Reward Based Obedience Classes Required: Yes, 1-3 private lessons, depending on adopter experience,
-Energy Level: High
-Needs Medical Procedure Before Going Home: Nope!
-Additional Information: Kuma is an independent dog who did not have much socialization with humans in her previous home. She was kenneled outside for all 6 years of her life most of the day and only taken on walks a few times a week. For this reason she will need continuous positive reward based training to learn appropriate indoor behavior and how to walk on a lead. Kumas previous home noted that she is protective of her space (in-kennel) and has snapped at strangers in the past. She will likely bond very closely and be loyal to "her person". She would not be suited for homes with frequent visitors, or a family with a busy social life. Kuma's ideal home is out in the county with fenced acreage and "homebody" adopters.
