Meet Krayola: Your Colorful Adventure Buddy!

Krayola is a 1.5-year-old spayed female Lab/Staffordshire mix, weighing 42 pounds. She’s currently in a foster home in HOUSTON, TX, and can be transported to an approved adopter.

She is ready to bring a splash of joy and energy into your life! This affectionate and playful girl is bursting with excitement for her next big adventure. She loves the outdoors and thrives in an active environment. Whether it’s hiking, running, or simply exploring the yard, Krayola is happiest when she’s on the move. She’s a social butterfly who adores meeting new people—she’s never met a stranger!

At home, Krayola is a loyal and fun companion. She loves playing with plushies, chewing on bones, and cuddling up after a good romp in the yard. She’s crate trained and does well when her foster family isn’t home or at night. Like any young pup, she’s still mastering house training, but she’s learning quickly and making great progress. Krayola is also working on basic commands like “sit” and “wait” during mealtime, showing how eager she is to please and learn.

Krayola is a social butterfly with other dogs and would thrive with a canine sibling or two. She loves playtime and is always ready to engage with her doggy friends. Although the other dogs in her foster home aren’t interested in playing, she respects their boundaries and adapts. She’s shown no aggression with other dogs and is fed separately as a precaution, but she has no issues with toys, bones, or treats. On walks, she’s curious and excited but doesn’t bark at passing dogs or people. While she may pull a little when something smells irresistible, she’s learning to walk calmly on a leash.

Krayola hasn’t been around cats or children, but because of her energy level and enthusiasm, she would do best in a home with older kids who can match her playful spirit and aren’t easily knocked over when she’s excited.

The perfect home for Krayola is one with an active family who will engage with her, continue her training, and embrace her zest for life. She would love a doggy sibling to play with and a family who’s ready for endless fun and adventure. If you’re looking for a loyal, energetic, and affectionate companion, Krayola is the adventure pup you’ve been waiting for!

Apply today and bring this colorful girl into your life!
