Korra's Story

Hello, my name is Korra! I am a two-and-a-half-year-old German Shepherd with lots of energy. I love cuddles and I love my humans even more. I would do best in home without other animals or small children as I love all the attention. I love to play with my toys and am always up for a good game of tug-o-war. I love to play ball with my human, and it is one of my favorite pastimes. I do have megaesophagus, but that doesn't slow me down a bit. My kibble just needs to be soaked and I must sit in my highchair to eat. Otherwise, I am a normal healthy pup. I am adorable in my chair and often fall asleep after getting my belly full. I am crate trained and know several commands. I am still working on my walking manners. Do I sound like the perfect pup for you.

Perfectly Imperfect Pups's Adoption Policy
Once we receive your application an adoption counselor will take a look and reach out with any questions. The team will check personal, vet references and check with your landlord if applicable. Your adoption counselor will then set up a time to talk with you and your family (or anyone else involved in the adoption process in your home). This call is a good time to ask any questions you have. Once your application is approved, you will be connected with the foster of the PIP(s) you are interested in. From start to finish, this process can take anywhere from a few days to over a week (so please be patient!). If everything goes well and you and the foster agree that the PIP you want to adopt is a good fit, we will then finalize the adoption.

Our Mission
PIPs key focus is dogs with special or medical needs (who we call Pip-abled), however, we have many non-PIP-abled dogs too!
