Hello! My name is Kona, and I am ready for my new home! I am a fun loving girl who loves her people! I am very playful and super energetic. I really enjoy walks although I sometimes tug on the leash. My foster parents just give me a little tug back as a signal to stop, and I am learning. Even though I can't hear, I am riveted by cars driving by. My foster Mom and Dad learned to keep a good grip on my leash, and divert my attention before I can see them.

I really like to play with other dogs!!! I can be easily coerced into a game of fetch as I love my tennis balls. I also enjoy a good tug of war!!

Did I mention that I really love my people?? I give lots and lots of kisses!! I am also a great shadow. I would rather be with you than anywhere else! I can be left in my crate, but I will protest awhile until I eventually settle in.

I am also pretty accomplished in the obedience department.(sometimes excitement makes it a little difficult to focus!!) I know several hand signals including sit, wait, shake, and lay down. My foster Mom is working on other signals like I'll be right back, and thank you/good girl, to let me know what she is thinking too.
