Kolsch's Story

Hey there!

I'm Kolsch, and I found my way to rescue from the streets of Cypress along with my brother. I'm a cuddle enthusiast, I especially love being right next to your head or burrowing under pillows for a cozy time. Toys and treats are also high on my list of favorites. While I enjoy playing with my foster dog siblings, I'm a bit more laid-back than them. I'm great with kids and love getting pets and cuddles from them too. Crate training is a work in progress for me; I prefer an anti-anxiety crate over wire ones. Potty training is also on my to-do list, but I'm getting better at it. I'm a loving boy looking for my forever family to share all my love with. Come meet me and see for yourself!

Colt & Kolsch are brothers and can be adopted together for a rescued adoption fee!

Kolsch is a about 2 years old and 67lbs. We guess he might be a pitbull/lab mix. He's fully vetted, Neutered and microchipped! Apply to adopt at bigloverescue.org

Kolsch is in Houston but available to transport to NY. A $300 transportation fee applies in addition to the adoption fee. This covers safe, professional transport and the USDA-required health certificate so your new best friend can travel legally and comfortably to their forever home.

Big Love Rescue's Adoption Policy
All adoptions through Big Love Rescue require a completed application, a vet check, a home check, and a finalized adoption contract. We do not operate on a first-come, first-served basis — instead, we match each dog with the home that best fits their unique needs. To apply, please complete our adoption application at www.bigloverescue.org or use the link below. Once your application is approved, we’ll schedule a meet-and-greet. Please note: we are a foster-based rescue, not a shelter. All of our dogs live in individual foster homes, so we do not have a facility where you can stop by to meet them. *Out-of-State Adoptions* A transportation fee of $300 is required in addition to the adoption fee. This fee covers the cost of professional transport and the USDA-required health certificate for interstate travel. Please note: Dogs are adopted into their forever homes before transport. In-person meetings are not possible, but we’re happy to arrange FaceTime, Zoom, and phone calls with the foster family so you can get to know your future pet. Thank you for choosing to adopt and helping us give these dogs the lives they deserve!
