Meet Koda!

This is Koda. Sweet boy Koda found himself at the shelter with two bites on his record. I'd like to believe that he was just doing everything he could to escape his finders and make his way home. I mean I'd bite my kidnapper too! Koda then ended up at the shelter with a bite note. That's usually a death sentence to most dogs.

Koda was then scanned for a chip, and he had one! After his family was contacted, no one came for him. So there at the shelter he waited. After over 3 weeks, the shelter asked if I would be interested in giving this guy a chance. Without hesitation I drove to the shelter and loaded him up.

Well actually, he loaded himself up!

Koda is a independent guy. He needs a family with dominant dog experience. Although this guy is as sweet as he looks, he does have his bad boy side, and can bite. (I'm pretty confident someone wasn't very nice to him in the past.) He is in need of a home with NO KIDS! Koda is the type of guy who will climb on your lap for pets and even put his adorable lion head under your hand for pets. He is the sweetest guy when he knows your his people. He is fantastic in a car, & great on a leash. He even did really good at the groomer! Unfortunately we couldn't save his coat. He was so matted it was horrible!

He is crate trained and working on his potty training. We believe he is around 4 years old.

This guy is a dimond in the ruff. He just needs someone who won't let him get away with being a bully, and someone who will protect him for life. We want to make sure he finds the right home who will never let him down. He doesn't need that ever again.

Koda is available for adoption threw Paw Squad in Clovis California. He is fixed, UTD on shots, dewormed, flea treated, microchipped, and health checked.
