Kobe Corgi & Dachshund Mix Holland, MI

Kobe is a super sweet, friendly guy full of dog tricks and kisses for his people. Our rescue's mission is to assist terminally ill people with finding new families for their pets, and Kobe came to us after his owner passed away.

Kobe is 7 years old, fixed, current on vaccinations, microchipped, and had full bloodwork. He is completely healthy and weighs in at just 21 pounds - the perfect sized companion. He thrives with other dogs who are active like him and enjoy playing and going on walks. In his previous home, he lived with Buddy, a chihuahua, who is also available for adoption (more information here: https://www.petfinder.com/dog/buddy-and-kobe-68928261/mi/holland/tysons-place-animal-rescue-mi973/ ) and we would love for them to get adopted together if possible. If it's not possible for them to be adopted together, Kobe needs the companionship of another dog who is energetic enough to play with him.

He is so smart that he knows multiple tricks: shake, give kisses, roll over, and play dead. He LOVES to give everyone kisses so expect to have your face licked. He loves squeaky toys and stuffies where he can pull out the stuffing. He also enjoys belly rubs and is quick to ask for one.

He is housebroken and walks well on a leash - he loves going on walks and would love to go multiple times a day if it was an option.

His foster mom says:

"He loves to go on long walks. He is super easy, nonreactive, and doesn't pull when walking. He enjoys giving kisses, sitting on your lap and laying underneath covers on the bed at night. However, he is still independent and likes having his own space and dog bed to go to. He is truly just the sweetest boy."
