Koa's Story

Welcome Koa to CCPAL Rescue foster program. Koa is a very sweet pup. We think her breed mix is Dutch Shepherd/Border Collie. She weighs about 28 pounds and should stay medium sized. She is good on a leash, good with other dogs. She is mostly with her sister in her foster home. Koa is the most confident of the 2 pups and she has 2 upright ears. She uses a doggy door and is good on leash and in a car. She would be best with someone that is active and outdoorsy. She would be fine as an only dog or would be good with another dog. She will be a fun one to train. She has good eye contact and attention to who is speaking with her. She has one upright ear and one that is not. She is getting her vaccinations and will be spayed and ready for her forever home. She is in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland, Minesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. She would be a great family companion and could go with children. We like children to be 8 or older. Please be patient when you put in your application. Adoption fee for Koa is $400 and transport is $200. This is a very desirable breed mix. We are being very careful in vetting people and we are a small group of volunteers. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email to ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions.
