Koa American Staffordshire Terrier & Pit Bull Terrier Mix San Diego, CA

This little cutie pie is almost 6 year-old Koa! Sadly, Koa and his buddy Fiona had lost their home and needed a new place to crash. Thankfully, we were able to find them foster homes. The good news is that while Koa and Fiona CAN live together, they don’t HAVE to, so their forever home could be one for both or separate homes for each of them!

Koa is a big goofball who farts in his sleep, has no concept of personal space and will gently steal food right out of your hand if you’re not paying close enough attention. He’s good with dogs but sometimes needs to be reminded when playtime is over. Also, he tends to get a bit excited on leash around other dogs, so calm, controlled meetings are best. He’s also great with kids (even babies!) and can be around cats as long as they’re not too scary...he tends to run away when they look at him or move fast.
