Meet Knight – Growing Into His Best Self
Approx. 4–5 Months Old | Male | American Bully x English Mix

Knight has been in foster care for two weeks, and he’s making big strides every single day. Rescued from a tough start, this boy is now gaining confidence, weight, and a healthy dose of puppy spirit.

At around 4–5 months old, Knight is your classic wiggly pup in progress — curious, affectionate, and learning how to navigate the big wide world. He’s crate trained and does well sleeping through the night in his crate, but during the day, he loves lounging on a dog bed or curled up on the couch.

Knight is already learning manners like “sit” and “stay” for mealtimes, and he’ll even lay down with a little encouragement. He’s incredibly food-motivated, which makes training fun and effective. He’s gained some healthy weight and is finally acting like the happy, playful puppy he was always meant to be.

Socially, Knight is a work-in-progress in the best way. He barks when meeting new people, but it’s not aggression — just nerves and curiosity. He warms up quickly and shows no signs of reactivity. He’s even cat-friendly — while he notices the household cat, he doesn’t bother them much.

Walks are still a new experience, and he’s a little unsure about them. But with time, encouragement, and trust, we’re confident this sweet pup will grow to enjoy them just like everything else he’s learned so far.

Knight’s favorite things in the world? His stuffed duck, any ball, and treats — lots of treats. He’s on his way to becoming a loyal, happy, and well-adjusted companion.

This sweet American Bully/English mix is looking for a family who can continue building on his foundation with structure, patience, and love. Knight is ready to grow up in a home that sees the potential in him — and gives him the chance to shine.
