Klyde Terrier Mix Cumming, GA

Klyde is the sweetest little puppy, but he is unsure of everything in the world. His first reaction to noises or new people is to flee and when you go to pick him up, he freezes and hunkers down. Once he trusts you, he will give you all the kisses and you will see his personality come alive and he often takes naps in his foster Dad’s arms. He loves to play with toys and gets along with all the other dogs in the house. He likes being outside but does get nervous and will often run back indoors. He is still working on potty training, and he will need a family ready to take on all the puppy training and be patient while he adjusts to a new environment. He is currently sleeping in a pen with his siblings versus a crate, but he sleeps through the night without a peep.

Thank you for your interest in one of our Hero Babies! Before inquiring, we thought it was important to share a few of our policies.

Puppies - We do not adopt puppies under 16 weeks to out of state adopters. This is due to our spay/neuter policy, and all dogs must be spayed/neutered before leaving Georgia state lines. We do not adopt siblings to the same household.

Your Current Pets - We do require that your current dogs and cats are current on vaccines and spayed/neutered.

Adoptions - We do not have a shelter and are a foster-home based organization. We do require that you have an approved adoption application to schedule a meet and greet. You can fill out an adoption application on our website, www.herorescue.org/adopt. Once your application is approved it will be sent to the foster family that is currently caring for the dog. They will be able to provide information on likes, dislikes, personality, etc. They will also schedule a time for you to meet the dog. We do require a home visit prior to adoption.
