Kizzie is a gorgeous and unique looking puppy ready for her forever home. When she arrived at Gigi's she was quite scared. She has since been in a foster home and has been progressing nicely. She is living in foster with other dogs, cats, and small children. However, Kizzie can still be unsure when meeting new people, but will warm up with treats and patience. Kizzie would do great in a home with another mature dog that can continue to show her the ropes. Her ideal family will live in a single-family house, have previous dog experience and an understanding that Kizzie will likely remain a cautious dog with new people and in new settings. She'll need patience and time, and may not be a "farmer's market" dog, but will bond closely to her people and be a very loyal and companion to her family.

She is an active, young girl so she will need plenty of mental and physical exercise. Kizzie loves treats and takes them very softly, so continuing her rewards-based training will help solidify learned behaviors as well as creating a positive bond with her new family. Kizzie is a world class snuggler; she loves to be under your feet or blanket or wrapped around your shoulders.

Kizzie was DNA tested at the previous shelter and is a cross of Australian Cattle Dog and Australian Shepherd with a dash on MinPin. She is approximately 4 months old and currently weighs 14 pounds.
