Kiwi Maltese & Terrier Mix Portland, OR

Kiwi is a Maltese/terrier mix (it is our guess). She weighs a little over 6 lbs and she is 7 years old (we think she acts a little older). Her favorite thing...going on walks. Kiwi is being fostered near the Portland area. Kiwi is not a dog for everyone and we are looking for just the right fit.

Her foster family has found her to be leash trained (LOVES walks), does well in the car, loves sniffing around her backyard. Kiwi will sometimes have accidents in the house and we have found that she might have been potty pad trained prior to coming to rescue. She does well with a potty pad by the door. She is not a fan of crates but has been crate trained. She does well with other dogs but we think she would love a boring and consistent home with a person(s) to call her own.

Kiwi will nap when you are not around but will love to hang with you when you are home. She can be a loud barker so no shared walls (no apartments or condos). She LOVES to be with you. No children at this time.

Kiwi's blood tests show she will need to eat Kidney food. We will be happy to discuss her bloodwork results. She will also need regular grooming.

Kiwi is up to date on her vaccines, spayed, had flea treatment, is dewormed and is microchipped. She has had bloodwork and her dental is scheduled (the rescue will cover the costs should she get adopted prior to her surgery. Her adoption fee is $350.
