Kit-Adopted! American Eskimo Dog Saint Louis, MO

Kit is about 11-12 months old, spayed, 22 pounds, housebroken, and mircohipped. She is a strong-willed Eskie and will happily run your household, if allowed. Kit is smart, alert, and picks up routine quickly. Since she is young and never had much structure (she was kept in an outside pen most of her life), she will need someone to spend time and watch her closely because she is still learning how to live inside a home. She likes to get into things so supervision is a must. Kit is a social, happy, high energy Eskie so daily exercise will be necessary (doggie day camp, walking, playing, dog park). And Kit attaches quickly. She wants to constantly be with you. Kit is a great traveler in a crate in car; sleeps in her crate all night (she is crate-trained); loves toys, balls, and nyla bones; fetches balls and brings back to you; and plays with other dogs. Loves to run at the dog park and comes when called. Kit knows some obedience training and is currently in training.

To adopt Kit, she requires a fenced yard to play in (when you are worn out). She is too high energy for an apartment setting. Another dog would be fine but she has been known to pick on the other dog if the other dog allows that. Continuation in a training class will be necessary to adopt her.
