Meet Kismet, a resilient and loving French Bulldog with a story that pulls at the heartstrings. Though he's not a pug, Kismet captured our hearts the moment we met him at the shelter. Found as a stray, his past is a mystery, but it's likely he was used for breeding until he developed a spinal condition, leaving him paralyzed in his hind legs. When he was no longer considered "useful," he was abandoned, facing an uncertain future. Thankfully, Kismet's journey led him to us, where he's been given a second chance.

Despite his challenges, Kismet's spirit remains unbroken. He does not have use of his hind legs, but he's perfected a charming little hop to get around on his own, though he does have a wheelchair that he uses occasionally. This special boy has a heart full of love and a gentle, affectionate nature. Kismet adores the company of other dogs and is always ready for a snuggle. His unique light apricot fur and sweet, light eyes make him stand out, but it's his warm personality that truly shines.

Kismet does require some extra care, including having his bladder expressed several times a day, as he's unable to urinate on his own. He's incredibly patient and cooperative during the process, and our dedicated team is here to teach you everything you need to know if you're unfamiliar with this aspect of his care.

At around 4 years old, Kismet is looking for a home with someone who understands the commitment needed to care for a special needs dog or is willing to learn.
