Meet Kirby
Introducing Kirby!
Kirby is a boy who is about 5-6 months old. He was left in a box in a parking lot, and a kind person got him to safety. When he arrived here, he was fearful of the shelter environment, but still curious and sweet. A kind foster stepped up to help. Here is what she reports:
"Kirby was sad and shut down when he came here, but in just a few days, he blossomed into a sweet, loving pup. He plays well with my two border collies. He has been around small dogs and cats as well. The only thing I've ever seen him chase is a butterfly. He is a surprisingly mellow guy. Loves to curl up on his bed and chill on the deck."
He is looking for a home where his family will continue his socialization and help him keep blossoming! Kirby is very sweet-natured and loving. He got a great report from his vet day, although he was shy. He has been doing well in a pack with other dogs, but is being fed separately while he learns the ropes there. He is seeking a home that will help him leave his past behind him, and start over with a new story - one that involves a forever, happy ending.
I am fixed, vaccinated, microchipped and up to date on parasite preventatives. I am $225 to bring home!
If you are interested, please call the shelter at (541) 474-5458. You can view more adoptable pets at www.jocoshelter.com/adoptions . Walk-ins are welcome, however we highly recommend calling first to check on availability and location (some animals may be offsite or unavailable). Appointments are recommended to reduce wait times, especially for dogs. Thank you!
