Meet Kipper

Kipper is a Terrier mix and this sweet little guy weights in at about 20 pounds and is around 10 months old. He is healthy, neutered and up to date on his vaccinations and dewormer, not to mention he is microchipped!

This handsome fella has boundless energy and loves to play. He is very clever, if not a bit stubborn and mischievous, and loves to play fetch and go for his walks and sniff everything he can see. He is a big cuddler and will come up onto your lap for a snuggle at TV time. Kipper is great with people and pines for attention at every turn. He is crate trained and sleeps in his crate every night.

Kipper was adopted by a family with small children who underestimated the energy level appropriate for their household. Turns out, there are some allergy issues and unfortunately we need to find a new home for the little guy. Sometimes Kipper thinks the toddler in his home is also a puppy playmate and jumps up on the little one. He is housebroken but is still a puppy and has some accidents. He loves his walks but can tug on the leash and, when he sees other dogs, he acts like a big tough guy. A lot of this can be solved with age and training, and in all he's probably a better fit with experienced Terrier owners without allergies, where he can get the attention he deserves and maybe where there are grown up children.

A New Life Rescue is a 501(c)(3) accredited rescue committed to helping dogs regardless of size or breed! All pups available for adoption are microchipped, up to date on vaccines, up-to-date on dewormer, and spayed/neutered. Adoption fees are $450 for puppies, $350 for adult dogs, and $250 for senior dogs.
