MY STORY
Hey guys, Kinsley here! I wanted to share my story with you. I was told that by doing this, someone may fall in love with me and want to adopt me. So, lets give this a shot! I came into rescue after I went unclaimed in the shelter. Before that, I was sited several times by people just wandering around. No one ever took me in though, and so I kept searching for someone who would. Who would have thought ending up in the shelter would work out so well for me? I am now with this PYRtastic rescue and I am enjoying my foster home. Now that I have been vetted up, it is time to find my forever family!

ABOUT ME
My name is Kinsley and I am a 4.5 year old female Great Pyrenees. I currently weigh about 90lbs. I am a very beautiful girl, in case you are wondering...yes I do have eyeliner around one eye, and it looks like I forgot to apply some on the bottom of my right eye. I think it gives me character ;) Here is what my foster says about me
"If you are wanting a laid back dog, Kinsley is it. If you are wanting a sweet girl, Kinsley is it. If you are wanting a low maintenance dog, Kinsley is it. Long story short, if you are wanting the PYRFECT dog Kinsley is it! This girl wins your heart over very quickly. She settled into our home very quickly, and is just the best girl! She isn't destructive, she loves attention but isn't super pushy about it, and is so laid back! This girl is going to be an amazing addition to just about any family!"

Let me guess, your next question is...how do I do going places? Well I do walk pretty well on a leash, but true to my breed can be stubborn at times if I don't want to go somewhere or sniff something. I ride okay in the car, but am currently still pretty nervous in one. Given my personality, I believe I would enjoy going to public outings with my person. I have good house manners, and have not attempted to chew on anything. I have not really played with any toys yet. I have not had the chance to play in any water, so am not sure if I am a fan of it or not. I am given free roam of the house when my fosters are gone or at night and do great. I am potty trained, but my foster does not kennel so I am not kennel trained. I am good with other dogs, but also indifferent with them. I also do good with cats. I am not being fostered with any kids, but when I first came into rescue I crashed with a family who had them and did well.

WHAT AM I LOOKING FOR IN MY NEW HOME
I think I am the kind of girl that could fit into pretty much any home. I do think I am more of a homebody, so while I would like walks here and there I am not really the hike all day kind of girl. I like my quiet time, and enjoy romping around in the yard. I also love coming on the couch for cuddles. I would be fine as an only dog, as long as my owners wasn't gone longer than maybe 4-6 hours. I think any longer would be too much for me, and I would need to have some companionship then.

I am being fostered in Kiowa, OK. We do adopt out of state, but my new family is responsible for picking me up. This rescue does not send us on transports or ship us.
