Meet King
King is a senior male Akita who has seen some hard times. He is heartworm positive, has some heavy fly strike to his ears and tail, and to top it off he was most likely abandoned on the streets of Memphis TN. King is a senior, at this age he should be curled up inside a home, and given all the love and attention possible. So many of us would give anything to have our dogs live just one more day and here is King tossed out at his age like trash....
If you have the right home for King please let us know. He can't do stairs, and is on medication currently for arthritis. He is a very big guy who pretty much sleeps most of the day at this point. We will never understand how people can do these things to an old soul.
